My Little Swimmer

So as I assume that anyone reading this blog is someone that already knows who I am, I'm going to skip the whole introduction and jump right in.

Last weekend Joey came with me to Dayton since Jason had to work all day on Saturday. It was a busy weekend with two different graduation parties on Saturday. The first one was for one of my friends, Korey, who graduated from Culinary School Friday along with a few of my other friends....Shakira, Jazmen, and Yasmine. Congratulations girls! The second was a high school grad party for my cousin Shaun who will be a freshman at Texas A&M in the fall (WHOOP!). I also made a cake for his party that morning.

I know it's not great, but I was in a hurry.

Needless to say the poor kid was worn out. The next morning was Father's Day and I was packing up Joey's stuff to head back into Houston to spend the day with Jason. We had already given my dad his gifts and I had been up since 7:30 to spend some time with him before Joey and I left. Joey comes in the kitchen asking for grapes and sausage like he does almost every morning he's at my parents house. And almost immediately after asking for breakfast starts asking to go swimming again....like he had ALL WEEKEND! It's not that I refused to take him, we had just been too busy. So my dad volunteers to take him swimming while I finish packing. The water was a little too cold for me that morning so I sat on the sidelines and snapped a few pictures. I think my dad enjoyed himself almost more than Joey.
